Jim Fender
Managing Partner

Jim Fender has spent his career providing strategic recruiting and placement services to local, regional and national clients in both the contract and permanent placement sectors. Immediately prior to joining Continuum Jim was the Managing Director at The Mergis Group where he oversaw four divisions - Accounting & Finance Permanent Placement, Accounting and Finance Staffing, Legal and Administrative. While with the Mergis Group he built these divisions into a $16 million dollar operation with 21 employees.

Prior to The Mergis Group, Jim was a Branch Manager in Baltimore for Ajilon Staffing (formerly Accountants on Call). In fact, Jim has spent his entire staffing career in the Baltimore and the DC market. His experience in both markets makes him uniquely qualified to provide expert consulting and solutions to clients and candidates in the greater DC/Baltimore region.
Paul Resnik

Paul Resnik recently joined the Continuum Group after 20 years with American Rental Management Company (Successor to Interstate General Company). Paul was the Senior Vice President with operational and fiscal responsibility for the U.S. operations of multi-family apartments and commercial properties located primarily in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This included over 4,000 apartments at 20 locations and, 300,000 square feet of commercial/office space. He was responsible for staffing of over 150 including accountants, administrators, leasing consultants, maintenance engineers and third party contractors. Paul also negotiated acquisitions of apartment communities as well as completing the refinancing of the apartment portfolio with loans ranging from $3,000,000 to over $20,000,000.

Paul served as a member of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as well as chairman of the Charles County Trade Show for many years. He was also a member of the Property Management Association (PMA) and a member of the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA). Paul also served as vice president of the Board of Directors for two other communities in St. Charles, MD.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and lives in La Plata, Maryland with his wife Susan.
